Many of IEUE's people are currently undergoing wilderness experiences that are very painful. However IEUE is not punishing them. He is preparing them. The desert is vital to the training they are receiving for where He plans to take them. He is giving them treasures that can only be given in the desert. He is writing on their hearts things they must have to be His servants in the places we are going. He builds in them what can’t be shaken. His promise is that these wilderness experiences is that they will soon come to an end, and be replaced with a Land of blossom and bloom.

What is IEUE at Work Doing in the Wilderness?
Adapted from, "What is G-d at work doing in the wilderness?"
http://www.umjc.org/singles/Bamidbar.htm

1. We recognize the wilderness…

Ba (in) MaDaBaR (wilderness) (in the sense of driving) 1. wilderness 2. uninhabited land 3. large tracts of wilderness 4. wilderness figuratively 5. mouth

· Not much social contact
· Lonely days and lonelier nights
· IEUE seems distant and doesn’t talk much
· We wonder if this is all there is, if we've missed IEUE somehow
· We can’t see where we're going
· All we have is this "manna"
· It feels like our prayers bounce off the ceiling
· We don’t understand what’s happening
· We wonder if we're being punished for something..

"The churning inside me never stops; days of suffering confront me. I have become a brother of jackals, a companion of owls…. What strength do I have, that I should still hope? What prospects, that I should be patient? Do I have the strength of stone? Is my flesh bronze? Do I have any power to help myself, now that success has been driven from me? Yet if I speak, my pain is not relieved; and if I refrain, it does not go away…. If only I knew where to find Him; in only I could go to His dwelling…. I would state my case before Him…" AIUB (Job) 5:11-13, 16:6,23:3

· We wonder how long it will take before we are finally across Ba MaDaBaR…

2. IEUE is not punishing us in the wilderness. He is preparing us. The desert is vital to the training we are receiving for where He plans to take us.

There are things IEUE wants to take out and put into our lives in the desert. All of His children go there in some way or some time before coming to their promised land. In the desert, if we are willing and obedient, IEUE strips us of the "MaTSaRIM" ("Egypt") that we’ve carried within us.

Ancient Hebrew definition for Ba MaDaBaR - I Wilderness: A place of order, a sanctuary (Strongs #4057: AHLB#: 2093 (h))

3. Treasures given only in the desert.. IEUE writes on our hearts things we must have to be His servants in the places we are going. He builds in us what can’t be shaken.

Humility… We begin to learn about our weaknesses and motivations and how much we need a Him… to give favour to others because we need it so often ourselves…

Worth… How much IEUE loves us… in the secret place, even when He is silent, we come to realize that He is there and listening…

To value leadership… How much value there is in counsel, covering, and confirmation

Trust… How to trust IEUE instead of striving and "reasoning" and coming up with our own plans and methods.. to be at rest because He is trustworthy..

Timing.. that IEUE can’t be hurried

Stability.. not to live in our emotions or under the circumstances but to become steady and at peace

ScripTURal sorrow and repentance… time to see what IEUE is revealing about us and to turn from self-pity to abhorrence of sin…seeing that position, possession, places, and people are gifts, not Life itself…to turn to the Creator instead of the creature for fulfillment.. seeing the beings’s idols and tearing them down to build the altar of the Master

IEUE's promises… what IEUE promises to a repentant heart…what the good news of the Kingdom really is for us…getting what we "know" in our head down into a living reality in our heart and life

Vision… to see beyond what the world says about us to what IEUE says… to be positive because of who IEUE is.. going beyond the "what about me?’s.."

Warfare… how to stand…how to use the word… how to choose what pleases Him

Purpose… to set our heart on Him and His plans that are eternal, which won’t wear out.. Not to live for ourselves any more, but for Him.

Compassion… learning to listen before speaking.. caring for someone else along the road.. to bear IEUE's heart for others

Perseverance… continuing to do what’s right when no one but IEUE is watching… like weight training repetitions, over and over and over…

Fearing ALEIM and no longer man… putting priorities in the right places…caring more about honoring IEUE and receiving His approval than anyone else’s.. resulting in freedom from control, manipulation, intimidation, praise, and rejection

Dependence and obedience… We learn to obey IEUE right away in all that He says…If He doesn’t take us there, we don’t want to go… if He doesn’t provide it, we don’t want it… if we need it, He Himself will give it to us in His own way at the best time..

Contentment… because we have received the deepest longing of our hearts…relationship with Him, intimacy with Him, trusting dependence on Him… completeness in Him… focus on bringing pleasure to IEUE, not self

4. What is IEUE's promise to us in our desert? - That it WILL end

ISHOIEUE (Isaiah) 35
Let the wilderness and the dry place be glad for them, and let the desert rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It blossoms much and rejoices, even with joy and singing. The esteem of LaBaNUN shall be given to it, the excellence of KaRaMaL and SHaRUN. They shall see the esteem of יהוה, the excellency of our ALEIM...

Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the weak knees. Say to those with anxious heart, “Be strong, do not fear! See, your ALEIM comes with vengeance, with the recompense of ALEIM. He is coming to save you.”...

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf be opened. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing, because waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water – in the home for jackals, where each lay, grass with reeds and rushes...

And there shall be a highway, and a way, and it shall be called “The Way of Set-apartness1.” The unclean does not pass over it,...

but it is for those who walk the way, and no fools wander on it. Footnote: 1See Ps. 77:13. No lion is there, nor any ravenous beast go up on it, it is not found there. But the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of יהוה shall return and enter TSIUN with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

ISHOIEUE 61:3
"They will be called trees of righteousness, a planting of IEUE for the display of His splendor."

ISHOIEUE 35:4
Say to those with anxious heart, “Be strong, do not fear! See, your ALEIM comes with vengeance, with the recompense of ALEIM. He is coming to save you.”

Wilderness - The Period of Letting Go
Adapted from, "The Significance of the Number 40"
http://simplyenocia.blogspot.com/2005/12/significance-of-number-40....

"Wilderness" appears to be another code that represents a "dry period" in one's life. This "dry period" is the transition where one is letting go of human beliefs and trusting in Spirit/ALEIM as source.

If you've been so used to the human existence, depending on what your senses tell you, living as Spirit is a whole different ball game. You are trusting in a reality that you can't discern with the senses. The trials are really your human habits, senses and beliefs testing you. They will say,

"How can you trust in IEUE for supply?"
"Look at you, you've got nothing and you're starving."
"Where is this IEUE of yours?"
"Why would your powerful IEUE want to see you suffer?"
"I don't see anything going on."
"Stop acting so stupid and come back to earth where you really belong!"

Let me just reiterate that the tests are not of IEUE. IEUE is ever present to wake you up from the dream of believing in only what you can see. But your senses could prevent you from realising His presence. Being unaware of IEUE's presence is like being so close to a stream and dying of thirst.

The number 40 represents tests and trials, when you are still dreaming you are "only human" and having to do things the hard way, not the period the tests last. Depending on how fast you awaken, the period can last for weeks, months or years. But it's a test everyone goes through. Some people are too busy dreaming to even consider there is another way to be.

There are myriads of ways one can be tested.

You could be tested by illness; you have to wake up by realising IEUE is all there is therefore you are already perfect.

You could be tested by the world that wants you to live according to its standards and beliefs; you have to wake up and realise that IEUE's way is the only way.

You could be tested by poverty; you have to wake up and realise that IEUE is supply.

It seems stupid that we have to go through tests but they are not tests as such. We are simply waking up to the truth of reality, that life is IEUE. As you become aware of the IEUE presence in you and in all, you have access to Real Power. Then we can live as we are meant to live without struggling, sickness or death; for that which is Perfection and Love is Infinite Life and Infinite Joy.
